A new Week a New Dungeon
A summary of this Weeks progress:
This week I added in the boss, The dungeon for the rest of my level that brings you out into a ruins/castle styled room which will eventually be a dividing piece to another level/boss.
The game currently suffers from the lack of a sprint, visual feedback against enemies and other various features that would make the game pop in general.
Boss fight current state:
As of March 20th, I have finally gotten the boss to fight back, deal damage, rotate towards the player and play out all the 6 states listed. There are a few remaining bugs to finish up, such as the boss not having a collider and walking through him. Even though his states are finished there is still general clean up and polish to be added. I would like to lerp the death of the boss, so he fades away and add a particle effect to it showing particles floating up and fading away. I also need to add in the collectable system next to open the final boss room of the game which you get from defeating all 5 bosses’ in the open world.
